Studio Stargazer will be holding Open Mic Auditions for the Thirsty Lizard House Band starting this Sunday through Wednesday. All styles welcome. Skewing folk/country, but jazz/blues/classical influenced. Lower key, but still stronger rock/tribal elements. World instruments strongly encouraged. Analog and digital sequencing and synthesis are definitely gonna be a thing. Cowboy poets needed for original lyrics. Intention is very much to produce Originals, but developing a set or 2, of solid imaginative covers is not out of the question. Standby

Once again, it's Winter... There's a New Album this year by 'Eye of Horus' entitled 'The Black Book' - it will be released on December 21st There is currently a Gift Box on the Homepage, to which one needs a Password. I'm giving away the Full Winter Collection this year, along with the New Release, plus an enormous pile of Context in the form of 3 or 4... maybe 5 additional albums, comprised of earlier work, brainstorms, sketches, remixes, covers, etc. - these will all be Free - the Main Album will be 'Name Your Price' I'm very excited to announce that Our Very First Audiobook has been Published on Vocafi - 'A Bigger Table (2022)' is now available for Early-Release Subscribers. 'By The Waters of Babylon' and 'Journey to Saturn' Coming Soon! (Will provide links when available) I've been going back and forth as to whether not I'm going to pursue my Holiday Story this year. It's called The Big Tree. It has literally nothing to do with Christmas or any other holiday, but it explores something similar happening in Nature. Animals gathering for a purpose, somewhat seasonally. My plan, as of right now, is to make it as a Solo piece, if at all. The Holidays are stressful for everyone, and I don't want anyone to be overwhelmed, including myself. So we will have to wait and see if The Big Tree actually comes out this year, but The Black Book definitely will.. and it's Much larger than originally anticipated. You're in for a treat. Hey, Kids! Sorry, Stargazer Central has been quiet for a little bit. We're in the middle of a massive Site Rebuild. Most of the Action these days is happening on Discord. Join us using the invite link in the Universe. Halloween is still kinda fluid, but things are definitely in the works. The New Album, "The Black Book", will be released between Halloween and Thanksgiving. It starts as a continuation of "Eye of Odin" and continues into the depths of the untold chapters of Studio Stargazer in music. Thanksgiving is bringing us a New Theater piece entitled "The Big Tree", which I will reveal very little about here, but I will tell you that some of the Kids are coming back for this one. It's looking like the Cast is gonna be about 50/50 Kids to Adults - and is squaring up to be an adorable, wonderful, warm and fuzzy Holiday Adventure. We are also in Open Casting for Cats and Birds. So if you have a particularly vocal pet you would like to add to the mix, please submit audio files with the pet's name to info@studiostargazer.org This year's Winter Album is entitled "Eye of Horus" and is largely inspired by the Far East, Ancient Egypt, and the Desert in general. Special thanks to Ryan Bowman of Rye's CBD and the Ryes Up podcast for his support which enabled us to start getting some new instruments for that album. We officially have a Hulusi! There are still a couple which we would really like to acquire to make that a really special album, including, but not limited to a Low D Whistle from James Dominic, so if you'd like to be a part of this with us and donate an instrument, you will not only be credited in the production, but also get naming rights to said instrument. As of right now, we don't have any X-mas plans, but it's early yet. All I can say for certain is that there will *Not be a new version of Holiday Mouse this year.
